India opts to bat in third ODI against West Indies after taking series
India won the toss in Chandigarh and chose to bat against West Indies in the third and final one-day international at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.
Shubman Gill has won the toss for a third straight match. India already leads the series 2-0 after eight-wicket wins in Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati.
Anshul Kamboj is set for his ODI debut after replacing the injured Prasidh Krishna. Mohammed Siraj and Nitish Kumar Reddy also return to India’s playing eleven.
West Indies made three changes of its own, bringing back Jewel Andrew, Matthew Forde and Gudakesh Motie. Roston Chase and Shamar Joseph were left out.
The New Chandigarh ground is hosting its first men’s ODI, and the pitch is expected to help batters again.
