What’s happening with Tiger Shroff after the Juhu shooting
Gunmen on a motorcycle fired at Tiger Shroff’s SUV in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday, October 18. The actor escaped unharmed.
Shroff is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films and made his acting debut in Heropanti in 2014. His driver was injured and taken to hospital.
The Mumbai Crime Branch has opened an investigation into the shooting. Initial reports said a suspect had been detained.
Three people, including a minor, were later detained in Kota, Rajasthan, on suspicion of involvement. They were reportedly trying to flee to Nepal; the available reports do not detail any charges.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack. That claim has not, by itself, established who carried out the shooting.
The incident follows other attacks on people in the Hindi film industry. In February 2026, gunfire was reported outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Juhu residence, and the Bishnoi gang also claimed responsibility for that attack.
Police have not publicly established the motive for the shooting at Shroff’s SUV or confirmed the alleged gang’s role.
