Indiana rallies past Nebraska 20-17

No. 7 Indiana rallied to beat Nebraska 20-17 in Lincoln, keeping the Hoosiers’ 21-game winning streak alive. The Big Ten college football teams traded control before Indiana took the lead late in the fourth quarter.

Nebraska opened with a 13-play drive that ended in a 28-yard Kyle Cunanan field goal. Indiana answered with a Nico Radicic field goal to tie it 3-3.

Nebraska went ahead 10-3 on Nyziah Hunter’s 10-yard touchdown run. The Cornhuskers controlled much of the second quarter, but neither team scored; Cunanan also missed a 40-yard field goal before halftime.

Radicic’s 35-yard kick cut Indiana’s deficit to 10-6 early in the second half. Nebraska responded with a 39-yard touchdown run by quarterback Anthony Colandrea, making it 17-6.

Indiana answered on the next play from scrimmage, when quarterback Josh Hoover found Nick Marsh on a slant. The Hoosiers kept pressing as the fourth quarter continued.

With seven minutes left, Hoover connected with Marsh on fourth-and-1 for a 44-yard touchdown. It gave Indiana its first lead of the game.

The Hoosiers held on for the 20-17 win. Nebraska coach Matt Rhule remained without a victory over a Top 25 opponent.
